New Delhi, Nov 03: Skechers, Where Comfort is a Technology™, returns as the Official Kit Partner of the ACG Jr. NBA 3v3 National Tournament for the third consecutive year, as the tournament's Delhi leg got underway from 13–17 October at KD Jadhav Indoor Hall, Indira Gandhi stadium. Every boy and girl competing across the 10 cities will play in a Skechers kit, as the brand continues to support basketball at the grassroot level, where India's next generation of players begins.

This season, Skechers' role in the tournament spans three areas:
-
Player Kits: All participating boys' and girls' teams are outfitted with a Skechers kit throughout the 10 city legs and the National Finals.
-
Basketball Footwear Trials: For the first time, Skechers is hosting on-ground workshops that let players test Skechers basketball footwear on the court. The workshops will be staged at select cities, including Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai and the National Finals in Chennai.
-
The Skechers MVP: At every city leg, Skechers recognises the tournament's most valuable player across the boys’ and girls’ divisions, with an All-Star Boys MVP and an All-Star Girls MVP named at the National Finals.
Rahul Vira, CEO and Country Manager, Skechers South Asia Pvt. Ltd., said:
"Three seasons with the ACG Jr. NBA programme reflect our commitment to supporting basketball in India from the ground up. Every player on court this year will also test our basketball footwear in the game itself. We're proud to back India's next generation of basketball talent as they make their next move."
The footwear workshops mark the first time Skechers basketball footwear is part of the programme. Players will attend a 10–15-minute interactive session with basketball coaches, followed by on-court trials linked to an engagement game at the Skechers stall, testing the shoes in play for movement, agility, grip and comfort.
The Skechers MVP Award will be presented to two standout performers at every city leg, with the tournament authority selecting the winners. Each MVP receives a pair of Skechers basketball shoes and a Skechers-branded trophy in recognition of their performance.
Sunny Malik, Country Head, NBA India, said:
“Building a strong basketball ecosystem in India starts with creating the right opportunities for young players at the grassroots level. Through the ACG Jr. NBA 3v3 Tournament and our continued partnership with Skechers, we're giving participants a platform to compete against India’s standout youth teams and experience Skechers’ world-class products in a fun, safe environment.”
The 2026 edition, organised by the NBA, ACG and the Basketball Federation of India and operated by India On Track, moves to the under-16 age category for boys' and girls' school teams. The tournament travels to 10 cities, with the National Finals in Chennai in December 2026. Last season, the tournament brought together more than 8,000 players from around 900 schools.
