Mumbai, Oct 09: Healthy habits are shaped by simple, everyday choices made in the early years of childhood. Bringing these lessons to life in an engaging way, Abbott, in partnership with Sesame Workshop India, hosted an immersive learning experience at the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre, Mumbai. The event brought together nearly 150 children from underserved communities, who are part of Abbott’s STEM Learning and Healthy Living Program implemented in collaboration with the SMILE Foundation. The experience brought to life important lessons around balanced nutrition, physical activity, quality sleep and overall well-being through storytelling, interactive play, games and role-based learning.
At the heart of the event was an engaging Muppet Show featuring beloved Sesame Street characters Elmo, Grover and Cookie Monster. Through relatable stories, music and audience participation, children were encouraged to embrace healthy everyday habits and understand how small choices, such as eating well, staying active and getting adequate sleep, can contribute to lifelong health and happiness.
The initiative, part of the broader Healthy Habits Program, launched by Sesame Workshop India with support from Abbott, adopts a holistic, preventive approach to raising awareness about the importance of healthy habits in daily routines.
