Bengaluru, September 09th, 2025: Bengaluru, India’s education capital, will play host to the second edition of India Rising: Aspiring Undergrads Summit on Saturday, September 13, 2025, at Prestige Falcon Towers.

Hosted by Vidyashilp University, the summit has quickly grown into a must-attend platform for students, parents, and educators, where global voices and Indian expertise come together to debate the question on everyone’s mind: India vs Abroad — where should the next generation pursue their undergraduate dreams?

The 2024 debut edition ran to a full house, with overflowing sessions, spirited debates, and strong student participation that firmly established India Rising as part of Bengaluru’s education calendar. This year’s edition promises to be bigger, sharper, and more interactive.

The day will open with a keynote by Prof. Partha Ray, Director, National Institute of Bank Management and former Adviser to the Executive Director at the IMF, Washington D.C. He will be followed by a distinguished panel featuring an eminent panel comprising Mr. Vishnuteerth Agnihotri, Co-Founder and Academic Director, GenWise; Mr. Sajan Poovayya, Senior Advocate, Supreme Court of India; Ms. Namita Mehta, President, The Red Pen; and Dr. Chandan Gowda, Dean, School of Liberal Arts & Sciences, Vidyashilp University. The panel will be moderated by Dr. Tania Islam, Assistant Professor, Vidyashilp University, with select members also serving as jury for student contests.

Beyond the conversations, the summit packs in energy and action through Innovators’ Junction, a contest where students design interdisciplinary solutions to real-world problems, alongside creative workshops and a showcase of Bengaluru’s brightest student talent.

Serious in its debates, aspirational in its outlook, and peppy in its engagement, India Rising 2025 is poised to reaffirm Bengaluru’s place at the forefront of India’s higher education movement, while inspiring students to dream boldly and decide fearlessly.
