HYDERABAD, September 26, 2026: The 10th season of ‘Mrs Mom’, an initiative by KIMS Cuddles to create awareness among pregnant women and expectant parents on pregnancy, childbirth and newborn care, is set to begin. The programme, being conducted under the aegis of Dr. K. Shilpi Reddy in association with Cryoviva, will be held across seven cities in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. With the theme ‘10 Years of Glowing Mothers.. Growing Families’, the programme will be conducted from October 4 to December 6.

The poster for the 10th season was released at KIMS Cuddles, Kondapur, on Saturday. Speaking on the occasion, Mrs Mom programme founder and leading gynaecologist Dr. K. Shilpi Reddy said the 10th season would be conducted over 10 days across seven cities. She said the programme would be held in six cities in Andhra Pradesh and for four days in Hyderabad. The primary objective of the programme was to help every pregnant woman achieve a normal delivery, she said.

Dr. Shilpi Reddy said that after successfully completing nine seasons, the programme was entering its 10th season. This year, apart from Hyderabad, the ‘Mrs Mom’ programme would be held in six other cities — Kurnool, Vijayawada, Nellore, Visakhapatnam, Rajahmundry and Anantapur.

Having successfully completed nine seasons, the programme would continue to create awareness among expectant parents about precautions to be taken during pregnancy, preparation for childbirth, newborn care and other related aspects, she said.

Obstetricians and gynaecologists, paediatricians, nutritionists and medical experts from various fields would participate in the programmes and provide necessary guidance to pregnant women and their family members. Special sessions would be conducted on common problems encountered during pregnancy, childbirth, exercises for pregnant women, yoga, stress-management techniques, breastfeeding and newborn care, she said.

Pregnancy should not be viewed merely as a process limited to medical check-ups, but as a journey that takes into consideration the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual well-being of the mother, father and family members, Dr. Shilpi Reddy said. The primary objective of ‘Mrs Mom’ was to provide expectant parents with the right awareness and confidence, she added.

As part of the 10th anniversary celebrations of ‘Mrs Mom’, a two-day free ‘Rejuvenate Retreat’ would be organised for registered pregnant couples, Dr. Shilpi Reddy announced. The retreat would be held on November 28 and 29 at Kanha Shanti Vanam in Hyderabad. The grand finale of ‘Mrs Mom–2026’ would be held on December 6 at Telangana Cultural Contractors Club.

As part of the programme, special workshops would be conducted to benefit pregnant women. Practical guidance would be provided on exercises to be undertaken during pregnancy, yoga, relaxation techniques, breastfeeding and early care of newborn babies.

A resource fair would also be organised to help pregnant women and expectant parents learn about products, services and support resources that could be useful to them. Platforms such as the ‘Mothers Club’ and parenting community would also be encouraged to enable pregnant couples at the same stage to share experiences and support one another.

Dr. Shilpi Reddy called upon all pregnant couples to participate in ‘Mrs Mom–2026’, irrespective of their stage of pregnancy or level of prior awareness, and benefit from expert guidance.

85% normal deliveries

Organisers said 85% of the participants in the ‘Mrs Mom’ programme conducted over the past nine years had normal deliveries. The primary objective of the programme was not merely to prepare women for childbirth, but to equip expectant parents with the right awareness, a healthy lifestyle and the ability to make informed decisions during pregnancy, they said.

KIMS Cuddles, Cryoviva, Neuberg Diagnostics, Yodha Diagnostics, Rorosar, ClickPic, Nuska, Omnisuticals, Wizard, KIMS Dental, AN Pharma and Bhagyanagar Foundation, among other organisations, are supporting ‘Mrs Mom–2026’.
