Virtual Galaxy Infotech Gets Board Approval for MoU with Xangars Infratech Solutions

Nagpur, 06th September 2025: Virtual Galaxy Infotech Limited (VGIL), a leading provider of hybrid SaaS and enterprise software solutions, is pleased to announce that its Board of Directors approved the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Xangars Infratech Solutions Limited (Xangam) on 05th September 2025. Under this MoU, VGIL will deploy and rollout 100,000 UPI QR-based sound boxes along with digital payment solution, in India over the next three years.

This collaboration aims to accelerate the adoption of digital payment solutions among small and medium-sized merchants, enabling them to compete effectively in the fast-evolving digital economy. The deployment is expected to generate approximately Rs. 69 crores in revenue through the delivery of sound boxes integrated with digital payment technology. In addition to device delivery, VGIL will provide continuous monitoring and maintenance of the digital payment solution software and deployed devices throughout the period of three years, ensuring reliable and seamless service for merchants.

The sound boxes will feature co-branding with the tagline “Delivered by Xangam and VGIL as Payment Partner,” reflecting the shared commitment to fostering financial inclusion and digital empowerment across India.

VGIL currently holds confirmed work orders worth approximately Rs. 80 crores and is actively engaged in working towards the achievement of a strong business pipeline of around Rs. 650 crores.

Founded in 1997 by first-generation technocrats Avinash Narayanrao Shende and Sachin Purushottam Pande, VGIL brings over 28 years of expertise in core banking software, IT solutions, ERP implementation, and customized software development. The company serves the BFSI, ERP, and e-governance sectors through the development, customization, installation, and implementation of software applications, complemented by post-implementation support, monitoring, and maintenance services. VGIL also offers end-to-end consultation, solution architecture, design, implementation, and managed services to provide a seamless experience under one roof.
