Pune, Oct 22: A lakeside setting, specialty coffee and a menu made for lingering afternoons — The Lakehouse Amanora has introduced a new café experience, open daily from 12 noon to 7 PM. Featuring freshly baked breads, sandwiches, toasts, snacks and café favourites, the new menu is designed for those looking to enjoy good food and coffee with a view.
Adding to the experience is Nandan Coffee, now making its Pune debut exclusively at The Lakehouse Amanora. Certified organic and grown and roasted in the Kodaikanal Wildlife Sanctuary, Nandan Coffee brings its distinctive Indian specialty coffee to the café, offering guests a chance to explore its brews in a relaxed, scenic setting.
The new café menu complements the coffee offering with a selection of familiar comfort food and contemporary favourites, with all breads baked in-house every day. Highlights include the Paneer Thecha Sandwich, with grilled paneer, Maharashtrian thecha and sweet red bell pepper jam on a toasted bagel; the Mushroom Melt, featuring garlic-butter mushrooms, caramelised onions, melted cheese and black pepper cream sauce; and the Cheese Chilli Sando, layered with melted cheese, green chillies, garlic butter and herbs.
The menu also features the Tamago Egg Sando, a creamy Japanese-style egg salad served in soft milk bread, and a Nashville Fried Chicken Sandwich with crispy buttermilk-fried chicken, Nashville hot glaze and whole-grain mustard mayo. Vegetarian options include Stracciatella & Sun-Dried Tomato Pesto Toast and Avocado Toast with Feta & Walnuts, served on grilled sourdough.
For lighter bites, guests can choose from the Spicy Avocado Tart, Palak Patta Chaat, Ulta Batata Vada Pav, Truffle French Fries, Truffle Popcorn, Cheeseling Bhel and Peanut Makhana Bhel.
