Mumbai, Apr 16: BizDateUp, an early-stage venture capital and investment firm focused on impact-led and scalable innovation, announced that its Managing Director and Co-Founder, Jeet Chandan, has joined the investor panel of ‘Kal Ke Krorepati, Shubh Labh’, a startup reality TV show powered by Favcy Venture Builders.
Led by Bollywood actor and entrepreneur Amit Sadh, ‘Kal Ke Krorepati’ has created a unique platform that connects experienced business leaders with emerging entrepreneurs. The show’s recently concluded founder-first finale in Mumbai highlighted its growing impact, with over 2,400 start-up applications across seasons, more than 60 start-ups supported, over ₹40 crore in investments mobilised, and a reach of 480 million viewers across TV, OTT, and digital platforms. In this season, Kal Ke Krorepati - Shubh Labh aims to build on this momentum by offering not only access to funding from leading investors but also mentorship and visibility through a unique show format.
As a serial angel investor and ecosystem enabler, Jeet Chandan brings strong experience supporting high-potential ventures across fintech, healthtech, EV, sustainability, and consumer brands. Under his leadership, BizDateUp has introduced initiatives such as a ₹50 crore fund for women-led start-ups and a Rs 1000 crore AIF Category 2 Fund for Tier II and Tier III cities along with deeptech innovation.
Further strengthening its investment strategy, BizDateUp has also launched Pulse Fund I, a ₹1,000 crore Category II Alternative Investment Fund, structured to support high-growth startups, profitable SMEs, and select real estate opportunities. The fund focuses on sectors such as AI, SaaS, fintech, healthtech, EV mobility, and green energy, with a strong emphasis on emerging opportunities in tier II and tier III cities.
